The marriage between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and billionaire politician Senator Ned Nwoko has once again become the subject of public controversy following fresh allegations by the actress.
In a series of emotional posts shared on social media, Regina accused her husband of using his influence to intimidate and harass members of her family amid their ongoing marital dispute.
She alleged that Nwoko ordered the arrest of her siblings, claiming that her “big brother and sister have been arrested” and expressing fear that her “baby sister might be next.”
Appealing to her husband publicly, the actress wrote:
“Leave my family alone, Ned, and leave me alone too, please.”
Regina further claimed that her brother was assaulted by police officers during the alleged arrest, adding:
“Ned, you have power and money, but wild for you to think I have none.”
As of press time, Senator Nwoko had not issued any public response to the accusations.
The couple’s once-celebrated marriage — which drew national attention when Regina, then a rising actress, tied the knot with the wealthy lawmaker in 2019 — now appears to be facing one of its most turbulent moments.
Observers say the unfolding drama underscores growing tension within the union, even as Nigerians closely monitor developments surrounding one of the country’s most talked-about celebrity marriages.
